Using Workova
What is Workova?
Workova is a marketplace that connects workers, employers, service providers, sellers and customers around jobs, services, products and local opportunities.
Can I use Workova for free?
Yes. Workers, employers, service providers and sellers can use Workova without first purchasing a paid package. Optional packages are designed for users who later want additional limits, visibility or eligible benefits.
Does Workova hold payments or operate an escrow service?
No. Workova does not currently operate an escrow service and does not hold money between users. Employers pay workers directly, clients pay service providers directly, and buyers pay sellers directly according to the terms agreed between the parties.
How should users agree on payment?
Before work starts, a service is rendered or a product is delivered, the parties should clearly agree on the amount, payment method, timing or milestones, and any proof of payment they expect. Workova may record payment-confirmation or engagement activity where applicable, but the actual payment is made directly between the users.
How do I find trusted workers nearby?
Use Workova’s location-aware discovery and review available profile information such as skills, experience, verification indicators, portfolio information, ratings and reviews before choosing who to contact or hire.
Finding work
Do workers need a paid plan to find jobs?
No. Workers can participate without first buying a paid plan. Workova is designed to help workers build profiles, discover opportunities and grow marketplace reputation.
What kinds of jobs can appear on Workova?
Workova can support different kinds of opportunities including quick jobs, urgent jobs, event-based work and other professional or skilled work, subject to marketplace rules.
Hiring workers
Do employers need a paid subscription?
No. Employers can use Workova without a paid employer plan. Relevant verification and marketplace rules still apply.
Can an employer hire more than one worker for a job?
Yes. Suitable job posts can indicate that multiple workers are required, such as for events, temporary work or larger tasks.
Offering services
Do I have to buy a package before I can offer a service?
No. Service Providers can begin using Workova without first buying a paid package. Optional packages can later provide additional limits, visibility or eligible benefits.
What should I add to my provider profile?
Add accurate service information, relevant experience, portfolio work, availability and other useful details that help customers understand what you offer.
Selling products
Can sellers use Workova without a paid plan?
Yes. Sellers can participate without first being forced into a paid subscription, subject to applicable marketplace limits and rules.
Are all products allowed?
No. Illegal, unsafe, deceptive or prohibited products are not allowed. Review the Prohibited Services & Products page before listing anything you are unsure about.
Optional upgrades
Why would someone buy a Workova package?
Optional packages can provide additional marketplace limits, visibility or eligible benefits for users who need more than the free level of access.
Where can I see current package prices?
The live Workova app should be treated as the source of truth for current package prices, limits, charges and benefits.
Safer marketplace decisions
Does Workova guarantee every worker or provider?
No platform can remove all risk. Workova is designed to provide useful trust signals and marketplace records, but users should still review important information and use good judgement before committing.
What should I do if something goes wrong?
Keep relevant records and contact Workova support or use the dispute process. Serious safety or legal matters may also require the appropriate authorities.
Growing the community
Can everyone earn referral rewards?
Referral eligibility depends on the current Workova programme, account standing and applicable package or activity rules. The live app shows the current programme position.
Can I create fake accounts to increase my referral rewards?
No. Fake accounts, duplicate-account manipulation, self-referral abuse and similar activity can result in lost eligibility or account action.
